Like the way you stabilize the movement/position with a spring.
However, I'm wondering if you are bound to fixed increments this way.
I'm doing a lot of 24fps animation right now, and for that, you need very small increments.
The result of the camera movement is very "steady" regarding the postion of the camera, but still a bit "chunky" in increments (if you get my drift).

This setup would probably be perfect for a "bullet-time" shot. Would be nice to see if you could make a setup with an actual full circle...]]></content>
