Hm... I don't really much to say about this but I'll say what I can.

So, your taking characters from other TV shows like Dragon Ball Z and Star Wars (which we already have too much of) is unoriginal because your using other people's characters, not your own.

Making your own characters and ideas end up in an original film because your using everything you made.

he's saying that your going to run out of ideas after the first couple episodes.
Its only the basic fundamental concepts that are being used, the characters, relations, plot, and story structure is quite different from what I'm borrowing from,
then why can't you make up a new concepts? instead of Jedi make them wizards. :/
though I'm not opposed to seeing a Star Wars film like many other people on this site I do think that the story has to be told in an original and creative way. from what your saying... this doesn't sound like it qualifies
sorry if I sound harsh I am just writing my honest opinion.

And how, you ask. It will be over a period of a few years. I plan on releasing a season every 1/2 year. Spring and Fall. I plan on 4 or 5 to convey the whole story. Besides, Its only the basic fundamental concepts that are being used, the characters, relations, plot, and story structure is quite different from what I'm borrowing from, except for the use of conspiracy, but I bet I could find loads of movies and TV series that deals with that.. cause 2 of the 3 I just listed did. Its not hard to come up with ideas for this, I have the basic "whats all gonna happen" all figured out already, and your quote is incomplete, thanks.

Usually, I don't mind parodies, but I like when they're mostly comedic and make fun of the thing it parodies.

Actually, this doesn't sound like a parody at all. It sounds like a mash-up of three things.

I don't know how you're going to make up a few seasons of this, let alone a few episodes. It's harder to think up ideas when you're making something unoriginal.

"Z!" Is a Lego stop motion series I plan on producing. I have had the concept in my head for about 3 years now. I have tried to start it a few times but it never got anywhere because I need an editor and voice actors. The series is a parody mainly based on Star Wars, Full metal Alchemist, and Dragon Ball Z (and much more, just not as focused) The story takes place in a world where the force, ki manipulation and alchemy is possible and widely practiced. The story revolves around a young padawan named Kadetsu, and his friends, allies, and enemies. The story is meant to be serious and comedic, depending on the mood of the story.

In the story, the Sith order has returned from a long period of hiding and began to put their plans in motion. The Jedi must protect the galaxy by fighting off the mysterious apprentice and his dark acolytes. Through out the story, the heroes unravel a terrifying conspiracy that could leave the galaxy in darkness forever.

This web series is suppose to be several seasons long and commitment is required to jump on board. I write, and film the material, but I am open to suggestions. Please respond if you are interested.
