Wow, you're starting out really small. This sounds like a typical dynamic duo, two characters with bland names and no personalities.

The first thing you need is to give the characters personalities. This would tell you how a character would act in a given situation. Next, you need supporting characters. They're really what seperates an original dynamic duo from a typical one. Supporting characters are anyone the main characters interact with. Like the main characters, these characters need personality, too. I try to put at least one supporting character into every episode of my series, Bricks.

Now that you have the characters, you need story. To set the stage for the story, you need a setting. Where do the characters live? An apartment in the city? A house in the suburbs? Once you've got that, you need a story for each episode. The first episode should have a situation that lets people know about the characters. After that, you can do any kind of stiuation you want. A stuation that produces a lot of joke opprotunites works best. Don't do something that just has the characters going somewhere they haven't been before. There should be an actual situation, not just the characters going on an adventure. That's how you make something interesting.
