Plus have a maximum resolution of 800x600. With Action! HD, the resolution is limited only to what your webcam can do.

Yep, Monkey Jam displays the capture window to scale, pixel for pixel. If you monitor is smaller than the image you're trying to capture, then the capture window will logically be bigger than your screen. Just lower the resolution. 720p is still HD and it isn't really necessary to go beyond that range, unless it will actually make a difference.

I use HeliumFrog, which scales down the image to workable size while capturing, but when you look at the actual file, it is the size you were aiming for.

If you're using Windows 7 or Vista, right click on your desktop and select screen resolution.
Or just film in a smaller resolution, like 1280x720 or 720x480.
That resolution is probably the highest his monitor can support. Turning up the resolution to higher than what your monitor can support  IS NOT A GOOD IDEA  . I done it once and it took me ages to get back to normal, meanwhile no image was coming on the screen.

I think Aero means "Your capture resolution is bigger than your screen resolution. But wouldn't 1280x720 fit because it's bigger than your screen resolution?"
