You could be right in that it may be a limitation of the demo software. I'll more than likely get SMP HD though as I've been otherwise happy with the quality of my testing..

I'm happy for the mods to close this discussion unless anyone else wants to add to it

Thanks again to you all for replying. :)

Ah, trial version. You might be able to do 1280x720 when you get the full version. I think I saw it as an option on the capture settings. You should be able to have that resloution with a 9000, right? I'm not sure about all that, I film in 1600x1200 (fullscreen).

I film in 1280x720 with my Logitech C910 HD. Never ever film in 1080p, it just takes up more space and YouTube doesn't produce 1080p very well at all. I capture my images with the Logitech software and put the frames together in MonkeyJam, produces very nice and crisp quality for me. A lot of people have problems with it though, I don't know why. If you are getting a DSLR definitely get a program like Dragon Stop Motion.

Sorry I've been away for a few days so thank you all for your replies.

Hi VanderFlame, what capture software are you using with your 9000.? I've found that I can't do 1280x720 on my one if I use it with Stopmotion Pro etc. Are you just capturing the images and compiling later..?

Thanks again[/quote]
