Holographs... do you mean holograms like in Star Wars? I've done that. So what you do is you take photos of the guy in the hologram separately (pref in front of a greenscreen) You then mask him onto each of the shots in your set/scene/wherever you want him, but while doing so you tint the saturation to look blue, and also make him about half transparent, or however much you want. Maybe add fuzz/white lines.

BTW long time no talk!
Yeah, we haven't talked in a while. Any idea how I can do fuzz/white lines?

Also, anyone know how to do motion blurs?

And any idea what luma keying is?

For some camera movements like panning, I built a camera rig. It consists of my ordinary camera cradle with train wheels underneath and then the whole thing is set on a train track so it can be moved freely. I then built a handle on top of the cradle, to assist movement. I had a few previous designs, but the one described below was the most successful.
The camera cradle with plates underneath with a 2xlength of the cradle space. Then I got a bunch of bricks and put smooth plates on top to make the track, then I added 4 wheels to the cradle base, and put it onto the track. It worked great, but I wanted something that used less bricks, so I switched to the train track idea. If you want pictures, I may post some and maybe a video demonstration of the train-track tracking thing. :)

Set the camera on the ground, and just turn it. He he. It's great for pans. Just think of it like regular animation. :) It takes some getting used to. I used it a lot in the animation of How to Not Rob a Bank, which hasn't been released yet. Also, some types of tripods are really great for up and down movement, as well as pan movements. We found one recently and are using it a lot in "The Entrance" one of those would be a good investment.

And I already finished editing my photos. :)

EDIT: I made the topic for the gun flares. Spent a lot of time on that. D:

Fancypants has tutorial on camera movement.
In that, he uses a tripod. But it's possible to do camera movement with a webcam (I think you have one).
I built my webcam cradle so it has a flat plate as a base. That way, it can be attached to different rigs.
The rig that I use most often is a left/right panning rig. I copied 0ld Scratch's technique, which is a few plates and a round stud piece. To build your own rig, just think of what movement you need to do and build something that does it.

Thanks DerTarchin! I could really use that. But one thing I have trouble with when greenscreening is I can't move the guy around the background image once I've screened him in. I use Wax. So do you know a good program that I can greenscreen in and also move the greenscreened image around in? Thanks.

@ANP: Yes! I would love to see how to do that effect!!!

@Everybody: Also what I'm looking for is, in Pancake Island and Viva la Vida by NXT, hpw can I do some of the camera movements that are used? Can that be done in editing? What's required? If not how can I do it with my camera while filming? Also camera shake?
