in a previous life i did work on a couple of animated kids tv shows for 6 years, although i was a video editor and sound designer, so i kinda have a grounding in the genre, although i never tried the animating myself until a few weeks ago..

Thanks for the kind words...you'd be surprised how rough the set actually is. It took me all of 20mins to make, and is simply a wall and floor made from foamcore board, the detailing is bits of foamcore offcuts and a couple of spare plastic bits from some old toys. Spray the whole lot white and hey presto - a sci-fi set!

These are actually very good! It felt like I was watching a (well done) children's tv show. The sets were very good. I would love to see a full film from you.

Keep it up!

Oops! sorry about that Mason. Didn't realise that Youtube handled urls in such a way. Anyway I have just edited the original post so its now correct.

Thanks for the comments. These are my first attempts at doing stopframe animations, so i'm really pleased that i'm getting lots of positive feedback.

- as for the camera, its a Sony HVR-Z1 hd camcorder feeding a component signal into a Matrox MX02LE video i/o box.

I recently got into trying out some Stop Motion just for a laugh, and found it to be completely addictive.

I've got three little movies uploaded on Youtube, so if you would care to look and comment the link is....

Hey! you took my videos ;) just kidding. The link you posted are my_videos, which everyone has their own, which will show theirs. Doing a VERY small amount of searching, I'm assuming that this is the proper link you wish for people to see: http://www.youtube.com/doctormedoctoryou

You have very nice animations! I can see/assume you have a good camera, and your animations are smooth!
