I have no issue with your opinions on the film, everybody has to make up their own mind on what they do and do not like, however the scores that you gave seemed inconsistent with your actual review. Your second post has cleared all that up though.
I personally think this film should have been put in the WIP thread as I thought it was a solid but rushed attempt. I don't agree that it is a unique idea though, a man having hallucinations in the desert is well used, everything from war drama to comedy to beer commercials have used that idea.
But i will stop there, I will not be doing any proper reviews films until i have something of my own released because I think it's unfair to pass judgement on someone's work without having produced something myself.

A film with a unique premise, Deserted cathces the viewer straight from the title. However, the film hardly has any structure plot wise, and the animation is average at best. The sound effects also get quite annoying and do not work for this type of film. Still, Cartoonkid98 uses some unique techniqes such as animating in sand and creating a dillusion in LEGO. All in all, this is an average film, and a let down overall.
I think we should start reviewing the reviewers. JP the only comment you make on the story is that it "has hardly any structure plot wise", yet you give it a 7 for story? You go on to say that " The sound effects also get quite annoying and do not work for this type of film." The whole film is only 17 seconds long and you get annoyed by the sound? Giving overly negative reviews and using phrases like "unique premise" to make it look like you know what you are talking about actually make you look the opposite.
I do confess that my review was a bit too negative. I do uphold my saying that the story had very little plot structure however. I think that the premise was unique, that is why I gave the story a 7. If the plot had been developed more, I would have given it more points. And again, with sound effects, no matter how long a film is, if it is a release, then it is a film. This "film" had voice made wind effects (by my judgement) which is not bad if it is executed well. However, this sounded fake in my opinion which is more fit for a comedy. That is why I said that this did not fit this film, even if it is 17 seconds. In response to your point that I am trying to make it look like I know what I talk about, I do to some extent. I as a brickfilmer for some time now have some experience. However, I understand that I do not have a great deal of experience and I am not trying to come across as an expert. I do apologize if my review was too negative, but for your information, I'm not an official reviewer. I was saying that I need to start giving people more "touched up" reviews. Anyways, sorry if I offended you, that was surely not my intent.
