For a project I'm going to make, I have a character wielding a laser sword, somewhat like a lightsaber from Star Wars. It's a little bit of a parody. For all of my films I only use sound effects I've recorded myself, and I want it to sound different from a lightsaber. So does anyone know of a good method I could use to make laser sword sounds?
