[quote=Littlebrick]And there's already been a book written on brickfilming. It came with the LEGO Studio sets, and even that covered important stuff that I don't see utilized in brickfilms now. I apologize if I've been a little over the top, but I just wish you guys could see that there's a LOT regarding animation that you're missing.

Does anyone know Where i could get hold of that book

I'm sure that would be very helpful. You should see MY animations before I joined this site. (no, actually, you shouldn't.) :|

Haha xD
Only problem with that is it could get a bit confusing, and there's not really a place here that just says quite simply how to do it. It would be better for it to be nice and simple with ever bit of information necessary to make Brickfilms. Going from every category to basic movement, to walk and run cycles, to story, to set design, to lighting, to post production, and everything else you'd ever really need to know. I've been considering making a video about all of this.

I'd definitely buy one from an experienced animator...I mean really experienced! I'm more toward the side where if any of us have anything we would like to share about brickfilming...put it in the resources section of BIM because if you're not as experienced as other REALLY good animators are, you'll probably get more thanks for posting some good topics in the resources section than you will get buyers of your book. That's just my opinion though. The resources section is kinda weak right now and for the sake of the community, it would help to increase its helpfulness/growth.

Because I'd want to make a profit?

As for buying the book, I have to agree with JK. I'd buy it only if it were a physical, hardcover book that's thick, that I can underline, highlight, and write in. It would also have to have real insight on not just basic stuff like setup and editing. But also advanced information that is used by professional animators.

TBH, I wouldn't buy a brickfilming book online as a ebook. I mean, there's already so much information on the internet about brickfilming it's kind of stupid. I probably would buy a book on brickfilming if it were to be a physical book, and covered topics that actually get into depth on character animation. Not just how to animate and edit and all that shiatsu. I wouldn't buy it from someone who is a newer brickfilmer, or even if it were a normal brickfilmer. I would buy it from someone who has actually been paid to make brickfilms, someone like Paganomation. If Paganomation, Spiteyourface, or Garrett made a brickfilming book I'd buy it.
