			<content type="html"><![CDATA[Thanks for the advise everyone! We filmed a bit of a scene in which there are gunshots in, and it looks pretty good; we'll be filming some more tonight, so we'll (Maybe just JP 3) be sure to incorporate the tips that you guys gave us.

			<content type="html"><![CDATA[Sorry this has nothing to do with the topic, but to get a good sig (this is what I did) open up gimp, go to file new, and type in 400 x 100 for the size of your sig, then create whtver sig you want. Then save it and put it on here!]]></content>

			<content type="html"><![CDATA[Hand guns have a kick in the tip of the gun when fired. So I would animate the tip going up then down slowly with the arm moving slightly.]]></content>

You still need a little arm movement, but otherwise, yes, that is about what it should look like. The arm should move up a little, but you just had a flick of the muzzle. ZP's example is a practically perfect example of pistol recoil. Also, your muzzle-flare is way to small. I believe freddiew's second channel on Youtube has a great tutorial on muzzle-flares. It's geared towards AE, but the tips are helpful for any program.]]></content>

Actually, ZP's is realistic. A real gun would only blow back a little. Most people think the arm should fly up and the body should move back, but that is an exaggeration. A realistic pistol recoil would look like someone bumped the end of the gun. Maybe more of an exaggeration for something like a rocket launcher.]]></content>
