			<content type="html"><![CDATA[Oh I think I see our problem Eddie, you were originally shooting at a 4:3 resolution (800x600 or 1600x1200) but instead of cropping it to 1280x720, you were simply resizing it, which still gave the black bars at the side. But since you were shooting at a 16:9 resolution (1280x720) It won't give the black bars at the sides. Good job on making it work finally.

Fullscreen = 4:3
Widescreen = 16:9

Just refer to them with their aspect ratios from now on. You might be a bit less confused.]]></content>

This is not HD.

Film at 1600x1200 then crop the height to 900 in virutal dub.
Then import the clips into your editor and edit them. When you export just export it as is.

That is 720p HD.
(This assumes you use the QCP9000, but you can probably do it with whatever camera you have.)]]></content>
