As some of you may know, I've been working on a Time Cruisers brickfilm for some time now. I'm making this production log to keep myself motivated, really, because after nearly 6 years of on and off work I simply NEED to finish this film  It's a big project but I often find myself distracted by smaller, more finishable projects so I decided to now focus solely on Time Cruisers: Origins.

I came up with the idea to make this film after finishing my short Time Cruisers animation, Time Cruisers: A Refreshing Twist.

I wrote the 20-page script for Origins back in 2015 and it focuses on the history of the Time Crystals, how Tim becomes a superhero and why Tony Twister looks like a werewolf in A Refreshing Twist.

In this topic I will try to post regular updates on how the film's coming along, everything from set building and animation to editing and visual effects. But first let me outline the current state of the project:

I already have a finished screenplay (most of it storyboarded) and a cast who've all recorded their lines.[/*]
The cast:
Brick7 as Tim
Ahsagot5212 as Dr. Cyber
Jay Silver as Tony Twister
Rachel Dew as Mary (Tim's Mom)
Christof Munoz as The Creators
MegRae as Bobbi and The Queen of Time
Supermelty as Wacco
and Noah Sprague as the Cashier

The film is being released in chapters, the first one, The Time Traveling Banana is out now!

In the meantime, you can check out the teaser trailer I made 2 years ago.

Eleven years ago, I released my short war film Last Stand to the world. While I’m happy with how well the film was received, I never made anything to follow up on it. And after so long, it’s no longer representative of my skill, to say the least. But everything changes today.

I am thrilled to finally announce Last Stand: Ultimatum, a feature-length sequel to Last Stand. It is set almost a year after the original film and follows the same characters. The forces of Verdana (green army men) have nearly pushed out the invading Bronzov military (tan army men). But both sides are already plotting their next moves, each vying to win the war in a decisive manner the other can’t match. The fate of these two countries now rests with a handful of soldiers…

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qk1Akma-De0

While Ultimatum itself is the main component of this project, there’s even more that fits into this story. Here are all parts of the project in both release and chronological order:

Last Stand: Pace (released today) and the next two shorts introduce important characters from the original film[/*]

Last Stand: Henry (5/20/22)[/*]

Last Stand: Rebuilt ([s]7/15/22[/s] 8/12/22), a complete remake of the original film that brings it up to my current standards[/*]

Last Stand: Kilee (TBD) introduces one more important character for…[/*]

Last Stand: Ultimatum (TBD)[/*]
My plan is to post regular production updates here to maintain my sanity and motivation during this incredibly ambitious project. I hope you enjoy watching this saga unfold as much as I enjoy crafting it.

In the 2010s, there was a trend of making non-gritty characters into gritty and dark action heroes, and with this upcoming parody, I hope to capture that. So far I've written the script, got the Hypno-Cruiser set, lighting gels and have the voice line recordings. Dr.Cyber is voiced by Roody, and Timmy is voiced by Red Paint Studios. I will try to release this on June 20th. After this, I will maybe return to the Time Cruisers for another project. As for Tim Drake Begins, I have lost interest in it, but it is still coming out. I plan it to be out in late 2023, or early 2024. Time Cruisers Return is a passion project I had back in mind in early 2020, but not as a trailer parody, rather as a full on 45 minute brickfilm centered on Timmy, Cyber and Ingo returning to stop the on-going kingdom of Time Twisters. However that is impossible to make, so I will resort on a parody. I hope that filming starts tommorow. If it doesn't come out in June 20th, then I will release it on July 15th maybe. If you're interested in this, here's my channel so you can see when the Brickfilm comes out.

Hello all.
I am currently in production stages of this film.
Currently I'm done writing the script and I am waiting for my bricklink order to arrive.
Essentially the story is about Tim Drake (the third robin) breaking into the Bat-cave announcing him as the all new Robin.
Batman at first declines him as Robin, even Alfred being mad.
Batman commands Robin to take Joker, Riddler and Penguin to Arkham, robin does this, and returns to the Bat-cave beaten up.
Robin says that he did it, but that it wasn't easy. Batman then says that Robin is atleast more capable to defeat bad guys unlike Grayson (the 1st Robin) and then it ends with Batman accepting him as the next Robin.
The planned release date is somewhere around May. It's gonna be like 2 minutes.
This is all I will say about this project, hope you guys are hyped!

A month or two back I began production on an adventure film entitled "Winston Picketer and The Cursed Trove." The original idea was to make a sort of Indiana Jones-esque adventure movie, that was a bit longer than what I usually make. I also wanted to have it be more story-intensive. I had stopped brickfilming for a while, and after getting back into it, I figured that if I was going to continue, I may as well step things up a bit. The script is currently in the works, but far enough along that I have begun animation. The story centers around Winston Picketer, son of the famous adventurer, John Picketer, who disappeared years ago. Winston lives a more or less stagnant, lazy life, until a strange Dr. Jeremy appears at his door with an invitation to go on an adventure, like his father. I won't give away too much, but Winston quickly begins to realize that this adventure is not all that it seemed at first.
Just a few days ago I finished animation on the first scene: The prologue scene.

We do ask that if you create a thread about your own project, it should be a film that is in production. Posts with substance are what we're looking for here; sketches, behind the scenes photos, and the like are welcome. Threads that consist of talking about a hypothetical project you think would be cool to make or have ideas about making soon will be locked in order to keep the focus on the actual production of films. If you want to post updates about your life, hopeful future projects, or things like that, there are better places for that. I hope to use a green screen for some parts of the film like the snow I hope to do with Lego instead of an effect. I will make a trailer for this film.

What's this then? Well, I'm glad you asked. This is the production log for my next project, a fantasy/action/epic short called "Once Upon a Kingdom".

-

I've always loved fantasy, and I even started my brickfilming career making lego versions of scenes from the Lord of the rings. This project is meant to be sort of an homage to all those fantasy films and books that I love, set in a fantasy world created by my younger brother when he was like, eight, at the most. So in a way, I guess it's an homage to him and my other two brothers as well, since we all developed the world with him.

So what's it about? Well, I don't like to spoil things, so I'll keep it vague. But the story centers around Ilaine, a young squire in service of the Kingdom of Rikland. She's part of an entourage travelling through dangerous lands constantly raided by the villainous trolls. When they make camp for the night, they're attacked, and the unexperienced Ilaine has to try her best to survive the ordeal.

The script is currently sitting at a hefty 37 pages, although I tend to be very descriptive when I write, so the final length of the film should end up at around 25-30 minutes. Still quite a long film, and considering that half the film will be the battle at the end I'm definitely upping the challenge for this one. I do like challenges however, and I learned a lot from my previous project "Isolation", so I'm feeling confident I can actually finish it. I also like to try different things, so I wanted to make something different from my last film. The goal is to start shooting during december, and have the film done by the end of 2021.

That's basically all I have for now, but I'll of course be updating more as the project moves forward.

Cheers!
