Staff Review

Randy Yard:
Tough to know what to say about this one. On one hand, it's one of the most ambitious THAC entries ever, with some gorgeous visuals, CGI aplenty, and some of the best titles that brickfilms have to offer. On the other hand, it's clear that Leo ran out of time on this one. The dearth of real animation is only partly disguised by a number of digital camera movements, the eliminated scenes are sorely missed, and while what's here is excellent, it doesn't really form anything coherent. But it's certainly worth a look, both for the many things that Leo did right, and as a warning against overambition, especially on THAC day.
