Director's Comments

This film is a stand-alone trailer for a movie about Darth Bane, a Star Wars character who is never mentioned in the films but is an important historical figure in the Star Wars novels, comic books, and games. I experimented with a lot of new techniques, which certainly proved useful in later projects. I only filmed this trailer; I am not making the full film.

Staff Review

David Frank:
Bane of the Sith is a very well made stand-alone trailer. The film is chock-full of dazzling special effects, but not so much as to give the film a "cheap" look. No, this is a high quality film, and not like most Star Wars films, this one has characters the average viewer has never heard of before, making it an enjoyable yet interesting experience. So whether you're an avid Star Wars fan, or just interested in watching a good stand-alone trailer, you're sure to enjoy Star Wars: Bane of the Sith.
