Director's Comments

This is the finished project for Spugesdu's stop motion contest. I think it turned out pretty well and I might post another video as my second entry...

Staff Review

Jonathan Vaughan:
This Brickfilm attempt at a thriller, set to Matrix music, doesn't succeed on all fronts, but it doesn't do a bad job either. The main shortfall here is the animation, which is frequently somewhat jerky and contains a fair amount of flickers. However, above average cinematography and some creative editing help strengthen the mood. Ultimately, there aren't any big surprises, and this exercise is notably short on plot, but it manages to entertain nonetheless. If you have a few minutes and want to see some cops running around a building in style, check this out.
