Staff Review

Randy Yard:
Closely examined, this action adventure short about a pair of time-traveling law enforcers looks extremely solid. Cinematography, for the most part, is excellent, and the animation, though a bit speedy, is consistent and smooth. The sets look great and the sound mix is above average as well, from competent voice actors and foley to a solid score from Tom Gudde. Unfortunately, once you get past the eye candy you're left with a simplistic and almost hackneyed storyline: bad guy escapes, gets chased by good guys here, gets chased by good guys there, and eventually... well, I won't spoil it, but suffice to say that there's no Shyamalan-esque ending forthcoming. The good outweighs the bad, however, and the technical qualities of this film are more than enough to make it worth your time.
